Our Story

Hi, I’m Quisqueyana, the heart (and hands!) behind this little sourdough business. My baking journey began about five years ago in the kitchen with my grandmother. It quickly became one of our favorite ways to spend time together, filled with love, laughter, and traditions that brought us even closer! In 2020, my life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome, an autoimmune disease that left me unable to walk independently for over a year and a half. Though the road to recovery was long and difficult, it gave me the time to slow down, heal, and reconnect with the simple joy of baking. During those quiet days, I started experimenting with baking and completely fell in love with the process. My grandmother and I spent countless hours testing recipes, sharing stories, and finding comfort in the kitchen. What began as a healing hobby has grown into a true passion.
I'm so grateful for the chance to share my love for baking with you, one loaf at a time.
